This is a remix of Mordiev's MMU2s Tension Screw Retention Washer designed for printers with .6mm nozzles. For whatever reason, the inner diameter (ID) of the original washer design was too big and kept falling off of the idler screw - I assumed it was because I was using a .6mm nozzle so I made this and just like that, no more idler screw hide and seek!
This washer's dimensions:
The Fusion 360 file is also included if you want to change it.
I printed in PETG with .2mm layer height and is plenty snug - you can essentially screw it on like a nut up to the idler body. I would agree with Mordiev that TPU would be a better material but think this should serve its purpose for a bit.
Update: Washers lasted ~ 2 months in my experience…so print a few extras :)
Also recognition to Terence's MMU2S Idler Tension Screw Retainer & Thumbscrew since I printed the thumbscrew (dueces allen key) and combined it with this washer design.
