Concerned about the impact of plastic on our environment? Re-use your freezer and storage bags!

We like to wash our freezer bags and re-use them. Wife used to have a drying rack like the one here that she bought a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away... Well, the drying rack broke so I was tasked to design a replacement one. Here's the result. It can hold up to 3 bags.

The flower "stem" is modular. Use two parts for a gallon-sized bag, or one part for quart-sized bags.

Version 2.0 (August 10, 2020)

  • Replaced the previous press-fit with threaded connectors for base, stems, and flower.
  • Replaced the previous flower (tulip) with a rose. Now prints without supports.

Print instructions

Print 1 base, 3 flowers, 6 stems.

I would suggest using PETG but I don't think PLA would be a problem. It's not that these bags are dripping wet.

I printed everything with 0.2 mm layer height, 3 perimeters, 15% gyroid infill, no supports.

The stem components come with built-in sacrificial supports, to stabilize them. They should easily break away.
