Do not confuse with Halley's comet. These models were rendered using MATLAB R2016a the data of the Deep Impact mission from the PDS site.
The file's names explained: name_1_x_10_y.stl is 1 : x* 10^y. So _1_6_10_7 is 1:600000000 or one in 60 million.

103P/Hartley

Hartley 2 is the smallest comet visited by an spacecraft. When the Deep Impact passed by it, after its flyby of Tempel 1, it collected material from the comet's coma, which showed a smaller proportion of heavy water over regular water than other comets, and more similar to that of Earth's water.

  • Type: Comet.
