Yet another easy printable and usable mask. (Updated 03-26-2020. Add readme.txt and zipper edition)
=====================================================
(---- Notice ----)
I get quite a few requests to convert this design for printing in PLA or PETG. Sorry, but I am not going to do that, and this is why:
In my experience, PLA and PETG are TOO DANGEROUS to put on your face. If a PLA or PETG mask cracks, especially when printed as a light weight/thin wall, it will cut your face like a knife. It may not be happen on the first day, but it will happen one day, maybe while you are talking, and it will be sudden. Thin walled PLA and PETG will fatigue much faster than TPU, being washed, dragged and pulled in daily use. Maybe something hits your mask while you are wearing it, and it splits or shatters.
Let's see poor Kevin in the following videos:
For Part 1 in PLA please go here: https://youtu.be/ErP28uP4mVI
For Part 2 in PLA please go here: https://youtu.be/LlN01EW9ORI
For Part 3 in ABS please go here : https://youtu.be/feWsPd2XUFU
For Part 4 in PET-G please go here : https://youtu.be/k-KhRx73NxU
That is why I don't want to convert this design to use PLA/PETG. It is for your safety.

(--- DISCLAIMER ---)
Print and use it at your own risk.
Uses up to 10mm thickness Filter. Mask weight 23gram.
HEPA filter mount STL and customizable scad here. (See animation below)
I made this for the community, for the time being the shortage of surgical mask, due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus.
Read my PROFILE page if you want to redistribute my design materials to others, for free or for commercial.
This Simply Version is very good looking but your lips will always kissing the mask inside. Personally I prefer theROUND VERSION Flexible Mask Valvy for better internal clearance as below.
Good Luck everyone and my loves.
STL size based on 58cm head circumference. (Refer to photo of T800 for measurement)
Just scale in slicer on XY by 1/58*[your figure] .

OVERVIEW & Consideration
========================
As title, it is a flexible mask design. It will give you the best result with flexible filament.
If you consider not to print with flexible filament, please go to other hard shell type mask.
First of all, do subscribe my YouTube stay tuned on the latest release and build instruction.
At least watch this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1MP\_O8FBWL4 before you start to print.
And do let me know if you have issue on printing, via thingiverse or youtube.
Two assembly types
==================
-Stitch all the mask and disc by threads.
-Zipper instead of stitch. (Still retain stitch for valve disc. The best way to allow good play of disc for in/outhale.)
Pros & Cons
===========
-Stitch take me average 20mins handcraft work for one mask. ( Bloody if someone never use needles before ;( )
-Zipper take me average 10mins handcraft work for one mask.
-Outlet same size to Inlet let you put filter on the outlet to protect the others :)
Sizing
======
STL size based on 58cm head circumference. (Refer to photo of T800 for measurement)
Just scale in slicer on XY by 1/58*[your figure] .
Weight
======
Mask weight 23gram.
Filter
======
Bascially accept all kinds of filter with options cartridge at the end of this readme.
Filament
========
Only Nose Clamp require PLA/PETG or any hard filament. (Bend to fit your nose by hairdryer.)
All STL require Flexible Filament such as TPU
Print Setting
=============
STRIGHTLY FOLLOW THE LAYER HEIGHT coz it is just 0.5mm thickness.
-Faceplate - EXACT 0.1mm LAYER HEIGHT. AT LEAST 3 Perimeters. TOTAL 4 LAYERS. DO NOT try to print at any larger then 0.1mm layer height. Check video for the best smoothness print method. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pt4gzvaJBu8
-else - suggest the same to flaceplate
Choose File Sets
================
Note: Some files are common.

Notes:
======
-Use any filter you trust. Personally I use 6ply of 3M Filtreteā¢ (Air Cleaning Filter - Ultra Allergen Reduction) https://www.3m.com.hk/3M/en\_HK/filtrete-hk/products/~/Filtrete-Air-Cleaning-Filter-Ultra-Allergen-Reduction-14-x103-9908R-/?N=4315+3291245372+3294529192&preselect=8719891+3293786499&rt=rud
-May try odourless anti-bacterial wet wipes as filter. (dry. dehydrated before cut & use)
-Use a hair dryer to change the sizing slightly. Annealing can sink the size of cap a little bit. (that is the beauty of flexible material.)
FAQ and Tips:
=============
-Level the bed well. Avoid elephant foot or you won't get the needle holes.
-Avoid moisturized filament which result in porous structure.
-Trim or heatgun the mask for fitting.
-Use multi strand thread to fill the needle holes.
Finally before you start next print
