THIS IS NOT FOR PRINTERS WITH PRUSA FIRMWARE. I'M USING THIS ON A DUET.
I made this because I wanted a filament sensor and a microswitch seemed a sufficient (and much cheaper) substitute for the Prusa IR sensor.
I used this model while making this: https://grabcad.com/library/omron-ss-5gl-limit-switch-1/details?folder\_id=1704724
Resolution:
0.2
The original Skelestruder from JLTX can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2845416
The Omron SS-5GL microswitch has two little dents in two places. Bend it in those places, doesn't need to be exact (as you can always adjust the bends later) but make it look somewhat like this: (note the end is bent back a bit as to not catch the filament on retracting)
Insert the prepared switch from the top with the lever pressed. Secure the switch with two 2mm rods. Insert a bit of PTFE tube into the cover. Put the body in its place on the extruder, add the cover, secure with m3x20mm and m3x25mm screws.
