Parametric Lampshade

I created this lampshade to test the PVB natural prusament and it turned out quite nice. In the pictures is a scaled down version.

• diameter of the top hole is 50 mm
• solid model for the vase mode
• print in vase mode without bottomlayer
• create a brim (2 mm worked fine)

You can play in the FreeCAD file with the layer height and the sketches for the cuts. Just beware of the angle that it is still printable. 

If you prefer a more solid version you can adjust the thickness feature in the CAD file and print the model in normal mode.

Diesen Lampenschirm hatte ich konstruiert um das transparente PVB Prusament zu testen und bin mit dem Ergebnis sehr zufrieden. Im Bild ist eine herunterskalierte Version zu sehen.

• Druchmesser der oberen Öffnung 50 mm
• massives Modell für den Spiralvasenmodus geeignet
• Vasenmodus ohne Bodenschicht drucken
• Rand zum Haften notwendig (2 mm reichen aus)

Mit der FreeCAD Datei kannst Du mit der Höhe der Schnitte und deren Geometrie spielen um die Form zu verändern. Dabei solltest Du aber auf den Winkel achten, damit die Schichten sich noch problemlos drucken lassen.

Eine dickere Wandstärke kann mit dem Thickness Feature eingestellt und dann im normalen Modus gedruckt werden.
