I was in the need of more light in my workshop because there was only one little light bulb installed.
Then I saw that Prusa made a competition and that I had one HEMMA light bulb socket at home so I thinkered around and decided to go for a scalable solution where you just have to decide what element and how many of them you want.
The biggest question was, how to connect them, that it gets rigid enough without sagging and the possiblity to scale the whole thing.
The solution was to take two alumnium pipes where you just slide one part after another onto them.
I think the result is as simple as possible and still nice to look at, because you can see the alumnium pipes ;-)
And now there is enough light in the workshop !
BOM for my assembly:
2pcs 10x1mm alumnium pipes 1000mm long
4pcs HEMMA light bulb socket
I printed all the parts on the Prusa Mini with the predefined settings for a layer height of 0,25 (draft) in PLA
