Note 04/12/18 - Have added new Lid variations as requested. There is now a version for:

• 1/8" BSP threaded fittings ( E3D Plastic Fittings ).

Note 29/11/18 - Have added new Lid variations as requested. There is now a version for:

• The Original M12 press fit fittings
• M6x1 threaded fittings
• M10x1 threaded fittings
• 1/4" BSP threaded fittings.

I haven't tested these additional items yet so i hope they are Ok. Also removed the older revisions to save any confusion

Note 19/9/18 - Have added new v3 files that improve the filament path and a few other tweaks. This is the version i would recommend downloading and using.

Note 19/9/18 Two things i forgot to mention.

1. Extruder direction will be reversed when you use this so you will need to either change it in firmware or at the connector.
2. Extruder ESteps will need to be changed to 140.0
   Note 31/7/18 - Added file Base_v2 this is exactly the same as the original base but with slightly looser tolerances around the locating holes, After printing in PLA, ABS and PETG i found under some settings the 2 halves could be a tight fit.

Note i haven't had a chance to print and test the tolerances yet so please bear that in mind if you do print this.

Made up this Extruder shell for my recent Creality Ender 3 purchase to replace the stock extruder.

This Bondtech extruder gear housing was designed for 12mm press fit fittings i had purchased from aliexpress, the housing also uses an M3 square nut for the tensioner instead of a brass insert.

The body is slightly smaller than the original it was based off of, and the filament path is a bit tighter. The Inserted PTFE tube also goes further into the body on both sides.

For the Bondtech gears you have the Original gears from Bondtech which would be the preferred option.

But as always there are now clones available which may also work.

The choice is yours but it is always preferable to support the actual original designers and developers of a product. But the choice is yours.
