My own designed Horse Stirrup.

One day, not that long ago. I ended up in a horse-shop. When browsing I saw a stirrup made out of plastic. In that time and place I got the idea of this design.

At the moment we are in Beta with our design.

The design V3.5 is succesfully tested with a 200Kg load and is daily used for over 3 months now (nov 2020). V5 is a refinemend from Feedback by the users:
No sharp edges anymore, better grip and owner-tag are added.

Print instructions

Printing in PLA (see Purple foto) or PETG (See bleu photo).

PETG

  • Printer: Original Prusa MK3S
  • Slicer: PrusaSlicer-2.2.0
  • Print settings: 0.15mm QUALUITY
  • Fillament: Generic PETG
  • Support: Support on build plate only
  • Infill: 25%
  • Print Settings: Layers and Perimiters
    • Vertical shells: Perimiters: 5 (minimum)
    • Horizontal shells: Top:5, Bottom:5
      Minimum shell thickness: 0.75mm
  • Print Settings: Infill
    • Infill density: 25%
    • Fill pattern: Rectilinear
  • Print Settings: Support material
    • Contact Z distance: 0.2mm
