I printed a spool holder with 2 set of BB guided slot, but I soon realized that this wasn't a safe transport system because spool could get out the rails and fall over the printer's bed. I was quite lucky because this never happened when I was away from the printer, but if I wasn't, I couldn't imagine what a disaster could be...
So, I tried to find something could block the spool from fall, but without success. I finally found this object https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3550741 but it wasn't suitable for my printer model, a Monoprice Maker Select Plus, so I decided to start a project on Tinkercad and, inspired by the aforementioned object and starting from another object https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3371469, I made a first version of a dovetail adapter for the curved filament guide that fit for my printer. Then another version with an additional filament guide, complete with a locker, imported from this object https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1280498
Maybe could be good also for Wanhao i3 printers. In case, give me feedback.
UPDATE: A little modification was needed to reinforce filament guide's circle. You can find it in vers. 3.
In v4 I did a little cosmetic change.
