First time modelling anything.
Might as well do a remix/remake charging dock for the Uwell Caliburn.
Still a work in progress, as currently the only way to keep it upright on a desk is with blue-tack.
Future ideas include a slight space to add a weight in, or mount using tiny magnets? Also planned is a way to insert the cable rotated 90 degrees, with a recess for it to sit in afterwards. Currently using hot glue to stick a rubbish cable in there.
The original ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3747933 ) had a super snug fit for a charging cable.
As my first foray into 3d modelling, I remade the thing in Fusion 360.
Changes (/improvements?) to original:
Lower profile,
Cable guide/canal is wider and has a curve/fillet for less strain on cable.
Cable shaft on the vertical has slightly larger dimensions, to allow for larger plugs.
Chamfers. Chamfers and fillets everywhere!
